| GRACIOUS LIVING CORPORATION purchases durable/semi-durable Consumer Goods business and assets from the Receiver of SUPER ELECTRIC CORPORATION January 19, 2009 - Gracious Living Corporation (a global manufacturer and wholesale distributor of Consumer Products) is pleased to announce certain initiatives to further drive its customer focus and capabilities of supply. Effective January 19, 2009, the durable/semi-durable Consumer Goods business and assets of Super Electric Corporation will be purchased from its Receiver by Gracious Living, and set up as a division within Gracious Living. The new division will have an initial focus primarily on the existing three major product lines of electric fans, electric heaters and auto safety kits, and will expand its product line-up thereafter. Super Electric, operating within the Gracious Living infrastructure and banner, will operate with a renewed energy in North America’s Consumer Goods businesses. Super Electric’s import business and relationships in the Far East will be integrated with that of Gracious Living providing a much expanded presence for the combined businesses. The new import capabilities and complementary product line-up is a significant step in Gracious Living’s goal of providing one-stop shopping for the retailer’s requirements in Consumer Goods. This step will also encourage the continuing growth of new and exciting product innovations and broader line-ups under the Gracious Living banner, to more fully serve the growing retail and private label segment.
